Small groups at The Mission have been developed with the intention of providing opportunity for people to pursue relationship, passion, and mission. Core Groups reflect our commitment to friendship and the pursuit of Kingdom Life founded on relationship. Growing with God and with one another is the primary purpose of a Core Group. These groups meet twice a month and may be joined at any time, and require a full commitment.
Contact Groups mirror our value that every believer is a minister with purpose, passion and destiny and provide the opportunity for seasonal involvement in special interest groups that may include outreach/mission, Bible/book studies, training/equipping, or simply a hobby such as biking or fishing! While Core Groups remain constant throughout the calendar year, Contact Groups will vary within each season. A Contact Group may be a single event, held over a weekend, or a once a month event.
Involvement in both Core and Contact groups is solely based on one's personal calendar. Season menus are published in January, May, and September and are always available at the Information Counter. They will guide you through the small group options available during that season and when new groups are enlisted.
