Here are some of the questions that we get asked on a regular basis...
Q. What is the weekly schedule like at Potter’s House School?
A. Potter’s House runs Tuesday through Friday with Mondays off. Every day starts with approximately one hour of corporate worship beginning at 8 am, followed by an hour of prophetic activation or other ministry lab. The last two hours of school are teaching from special guest teachers from all over the world & our own Leadership.
Q. Do you provide housing for the students?
A. PH does not provide housing at this time, but we will add students to a “Roommates Wanted” list which is made available to all incoming students. There are many online websites that will show you what apartments are available in our area if you enter the Vacaville, CA zip codes which are 95687 & 95688. Finding housing is the students’ responsibility.
Q. How much does the school cost?
A. The tuition fee for 9 months is $2,900. Payment plans are not available, and tuition must be paid in full by the first day of class. A Deposit of $200 is required within one month of acceptance which will be included in the tuition.
Q. How long does the program run?
A. September 14, 2010 - May 27, 2011
Q. Can I work while attending the school?
A. Yes. Many students need to work to cover living expenses during the program. Our school schedule makes it very easy for students to find good part time jobs. Vacaville is a large suburb with plenty of opportunity for motivated individuals.
Q. What is the cost of books?
A. We have tried to keep the cost low by offering a library of the assigned books that students may borrow & return. Purchasing the books would be under $150 for the year.
Q. How much homework do you assign?
A. PH is not academic driven. Our strength is on activation rather than head knowledge alone. Work beyond class would include daily Bible reading of assigned passages, one outside book every 3 weeks, a short book report on each book. The students are also asked to assist with Mission Conferences.
Q. What kind of degree do the students receive upon graduation?
A. All students completing the 9 month program receive a Certificate of Completion at graduation. Potter’s House is not an accredited school at this time.
Q. What age requirements do you have?
A. We require a high school diploma or a GED and have accepted students from age 17 to 70 so far. The majority of our students are in their 20’s & 30’s.
Q. What about international students?
A. We will send you the appropriate paperwork (an acceptance/invitation letter to U.S.Customs) for your visa. Students are responsible to contact their embassy to see which visa they recommend for you.
Q. How many students do you have each year?
A. We aim for 30 – 40 students per school year. Our small class size ensures strong relationships, as well as very focused encouragement & impartation as you experience PH. We do share our facilities with another ministry school and meet with their students (about 30) on a regular basis for times of worship & prophetic activation.
Q. Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
A. No, not at this time. However, we suggest having people sponsor you from your home church. Many students have had a lot of success with individuals supporting them financially on a regular basis.
