Throughout the year at The Mission we have several opportunities for equipping and training. We have moved away from a traditional model of equipping in the church and have created the following modules of training and equipping available here at The Mission. Each will take place several times through out each calendar year, and scheduled dates may be found in our Sunday bulletin.

FOUNDATIONS
Foundations is an eight-week interactive class that will be a valuable tool in integrating with our community at The Mission. You will be introduced to our leadership, vision, values and theological base and get to know others also new to The Mission.

During these eight-weeks there are activations related to subject matter being taught including - soaking & meditation, praying the Word, prophetic encouragement, leading others into the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, & ministering in the gifts of the Spirit. 

Offered three times a year, Foundations also fulfills the requirement necessary for all those seeking church membership and ministry opportunities/leadership. This is also a great refresher course for those who have been saved for many years. (see calendar...)

PRAYER MINISTRY TRAINING
PMT is offered several times a year to those having completed Foundations. Serving as a Prayer Minister in our corporate gatherings is not required of those having gone through the training, but is an optional place of serving at The Mission.

Prayer Ministry training is a powerful tool to support marketplace evangelism and everyday Kingdom living. PMT is a five week (including one Saturday 9.30am-3.30pm ) course that is offered usually within a month after Foundations is complete. (see calendar...)

ACCELERATE SCHOOLS
We are a community of people living in a period of "Divine Acceleration" under a promise of latitude and indulgence from our heavenly Father. Accelerate Schools are designed to help us move at the speed of the Holy Spirit in specific areas of relationship with the Father, living in community, and increasing the Kingdom.

The schools are scheduled at various times throughout the year and are formatted for instruction and activation. Examples of Accelerate Schools are: Accelerate School of Worship / Accelerate School of Prophecy / Accelerate School of Prayer. Accelerate Schools are held weekly in the evenings for a 6-8 week period. (see calendar...)

TRAINING INTENSIVES    
Intensive week long training initiatives for believers in several areas of Kingdom life. These intensives will be presented on The Mission campus and available to The Mission community and people from around the world. These week-long Training Intensives are fee based and a registration will be required. (see calendar...)

SCHOOL OF MISSION    
SOM is a week-end training and pre-requisite in preparation for International Mission trips through The Mission. SOM will highlight our purpose (why are we involved in international mission), talk about the values that govern where we work, why we are in a given country, how and what our focus of ministry in various countries is. Practical preparation for IM trips is included in the school and all forms/documents that you will need to get started and ready are provided. Foundations and Prayer Ministry Training is also a requirement for participating in IM trips. (see calendar...)

CONTACT GROUPS
Contact Groups are a part of our small group ministry. Contact Groups may include various types of Bible/Book Studies, a type of training or equipping in the arts, worship, evangelism, etc. See our small group menu for more information. (more...)
