Frequently Asked Questions...
Q. What is a week in the Deeper School like?
A. Here's a snapshot of what each week will feature:
- Eight 1-hour, 20 minute teaching sessions, three of them with Graham Cooke, Dan McCollam and David Crone. In the other sessions, you'll be taught by trainers who have worked in many diverse areas of ministry, around the globe!
- Set apart times of intentional worship – one of our highest priorities.
- Once per week elective classes. You can choose from four elective options; new ones will become available every six weeks. (Some of them will be repeated throughout the year, based on their popularity.) Electives may include:
Worship
Youth Ministry
Children's Ministry
Prayer
Healing
Administration
More!
- Smaller, focused Connection Groups that will meet together with a pastor twice each week, centering on personal development and individual growth.
- Training in outreach and activation in our local community.

Q.What's the application process like?
A.
Once we receive your completed application, photo, $35 nonrefundable application fee and references, you will receive a confirmation and will be given a date and time for an interview (by phone or in person) with one of our Connection Group Pastors.
Q. Do you provide housing for the students?
A. DS does not provide housing at this time, but we will add students to a “Roommates Wanted” list which is made available to all incoming students. There are many online websites that will show you what apartments are available in our area if you enter the Vacaville, CA zip codes (95687 & 95688).
Q. How much does the school cost?
A. The tuition for DS is $3200. There is a 5% discount if the amount is paid in full by September 1. We also have 3 payment plan options that you can choose from if you are unable to pay the full amount by September 1. There is a $250 non-refundable deposit towards tuition due within 30 days of acceptance.
Q. How long does the program run?
A. The first day of class is September 7. Students graduate on May 15.
Q. Can I work while attending the school?
A. Yes. Many students need to work to cover living expenses during the program. Our school schedule makes it very easy for students to find good part-time jobs. Vacaville is a large suburb with plenty of job opportunities.
Q. Can I still attend my home church while attending DS (for local students)?
A. Yes, provided that you are faithful in attending your home church. However, we would need you to prioritize attending and helping out at conferences/short term schools when they occur.
Q. What is the cost of books?
A. The cost of the books will be around $150.00 for the entire school year.
Q How much homework do you assign?
A. Each student should allow for 60-90 minutes of homework per school day.
Q. What kind of degree do the students receive upon graduation?
A. All students completing the 9-month program receive a Certificate of Completion at graduation. Deeper School is not an accredited school at this time.
Q. What age and education requirements do you have?
A. We require a high school diploma or GED and accept students from age 17 - 90!
Q. What about international students?
A. We will send you the appropriate paperwork (an acceptance/invitation letter to U.S. Customs) for your visa. Students are responsible to contact their embassy to see which visa they recommend for you.
Q. How many students do you have each year?
A. Our goal is to have 150-200 students this initial year.
Q. Do you offer scholarships or financial aid?
A. No, not at this time. However, we suggest having people from your home church sponsor you. Many students have had a lot of success with individuals supporting them financially.
